I've been keeping this a "kind of" secret for a while, but I'm excited to announce that we’re moving!
For those of you who don’t know, I have been working the past two and a half years on my pre-recs for PA school (Physician Assistant). I’ve been accepted into Des Moines University, and I start June 2nd. Before we move, Jimmy and I want to take some time to say goodbye to our friends who have known us during our time here in Lincoln. I’ve been here for over ten years now, with Jimmy just slightly longer. It’ll be hard to leave, but we hope to make Lincoln our home again someday!
As far as the change in career, after working as a personal trainer and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner for seven years, it became clear that I needed to offer my clients more complete care that they weren’t receiving elsewhere. This requires a medical degree; hence the decision to return to school. My goal upon graduation is to work in the area of women’s hormones. I see such a discrepancy in that area with a lack of support and healing for those struggling. I hope to bring my holistic perspective alongside of my future medical degree to help women struggling with all kinds of hormone issues.
So, this means I only in Lincoln for the next couple of weeks, and my schedule is full! I won't be able to take any more clients, but if you'd like to work with someone like me, reach out and I'll give you a wonderful referral!
