My Favorite Health & Wellness Podcasts

I love, love, love to listen to a podcast when I'm driving, working around the house, or working out, It's the perfect way for me to keep up with current health, wellness, and fitness information while also getting a good laugh every now and then too!

I have an iPhone, so the Podcast app is where I always listen to my favorites, but you can also use the Stitcher app with Android or listen online to most of the podcasts too!

My favorite podcasts related to health and wellness are:

1. The Balanced Bites Podcast

I started listening to the BB Podcast about 3 years ago and haven't stopped since! When I was first starting out on my own health and fitness journey, this podcast was one of the first ones that I started listening to. Diane Sanfilippo of balancedbites.com and Liz Wolfe of realfoodliz.com are the co-hosts and always have something interesting to say! I love their practical approach to wellness and nutrition, plus both ladies have amazing books that you must read if you haven't already. New episodes are released every Thursday, and topics include all things real food, exercise, and health!

2. Girls Gone WOD

This podcast is meant for those who Crossfit (WOD stands for workout of the day), but honestly, anyone can listen if you want to learn more about marriage hacks, life tips, and stories that leave you breathless with laughter. I started listening to GGW about 2 years ago, and don't plan on ever stopping! Joy and Claire are the two hosts of the show, and often interview guests, as well as have just "Joy and Claire" episodes that basically catch you up on life. New episodes are released every Thursday!

3. The Paleo View

As the title implies, this podcast is all about the paleo lifestyle. Stacy Toth and Sarah Ballantyne are the co-hosts and always have a wonderful show prepared. There is time for both laughs and serious science, so be ready for some "knowledge bombs" to go off in your head! I also began listening to The Paleo View around the same time as the BB Podcast. Both ladies have written several wonderful books and have amazing blogs as well! Stacy blogs at realeverything.com and Sarah blogs at thepaleomom.com.
