Refresh, Rebalance, Renew: A Wellness Retreat

I wanted to take a second in today's post to let you all know about an amazing event I have planned for 2017 - one that you can participate in! I'm partnering with another health coach, Kay Erickson, and a yoga and meditation expert, Brittney Clement, to bring a wellness retreat to Lincoln, Nebraska. We are called the retreat Refresh, Rebalance, Renew: A Wellness Retreat. What a more perfect way to check in with yourself in February when the happiness of the New Year has faded, and spring seems so far away! Plus, the retreat makes the perfect Valentine's Day gift or early Mother's Day gift for those special people in your life.

The retreat is held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the gorgeous Hillcrest Country Club just on the outskirts of Lincoln (see below for address). Because we are all busy, busy people, we decided to keep the retreat short, but jam packed with refreshing, renewing activities!

The retreat will run from 8:30-11:30am, with an optional light breakfast beforehand from 7:45-8:30am, where you are invited to come and interact with your hosts and other retreat participants! From there, the schedule of events begins.

Schedule of the Morning:

7:45-8:30am - Optional Light Breakfast

*Join Kay, Olivia, and Brittney for an optional light breakfast before the retreat begins

8:30-8:45am - Introductions

*Meet the host of your retreat: Kay Erickson, Olivia Borer, and Brittney Schuessler-Clement

8:45-9:15am - Yoga & Meditation

*Start the day off with a refreshing note with yoga and a mindful meditation to center your innermost self

9:15-9:45am - Real Food 101: Building Your Plate

*Learn how to build a real food plate, as well as how eating whole foods can be simple and accessible to even the busiest people

9:45-10:00am - Refreshment Break

*Enjoy lemon lime water - fresh, cool, and crisp!

10:00-10:45am - The Foundation of Happiness

*Discover what truly makes you happy, as well as how to become the most authentic version of yourself

10:45-11:15am - Yoga & Meditation

*Refresh your mind and prepare yourself to complete the retreat with a mindful closing meditation

11:15-11:30am - Questions & Answers

*Ask your host any questions that are on your heart
