Nourish & Thrive Gift List 2016

As a wellness blogger, there are some many wonderful items that I come across on a daily basis, and in the spirit of giving, it wouldn't be fair for me to keep them all to myself! Today, I'm sharing my top gifts for the special people in your life.

For the Foodie: An InstaPot

I just ordered an InstaPot over Black Friday, and it was well worth the purchase! The InstaPot is a combination cooker with a multitude of functions including slow cooking, pressure cooking, sauteing, steaming, and more! I have been eyeing this pot for over a year now, but finally took the plunge and order one for myself. It takes cooking time and cuts it in half! For instance, I cooked a whole chicken AND made broth with the bones afterward in a matter of 3 hours, when normally in a slow cooker, that process takes me 3 days! Well worth the investment for sure. I can't wait to keep experimenting with it! There's a couple of options to choose from that vary in size and functions, so choose the best one for you!

For the Health Guru: Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides

I recommend Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides to almost every single one of my clients. Made from grass-fed beef collagen, the peptides are amazing for your health as they aid in the building blocks of every cell in your body! If you are looking for better joint, skin, hair, or bone health, these collagen peptides are a must! The peptides are in a powder form and can be dissolved easily into hot or cold liquids. Plus, they have barely any taste and no added ingredients.

For EVERYONE: Practical Paleo

This book changed my life. Literally. It taught me a ton about real food nutrition, what lies we've been told about food and health, and so much more! I use this with every single one of my clients, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon! I even refer to it as my health coaching "bible." Diane Sanfilippo, the author, just came out with a second edition of the book in September, so it is well worth picking up for yourself or anyone on your list!

For the Avid Reader: Eat the Yolks

This book is witty, but extremely informative. Join Liz Wolfe down a journey of how we arrived at where we are with nutrition and wellness. This book is a must read for anyone serious about their health, as Liz breaks apart common myths and lays the groundwork for real, whole food based nutrition!

For the Strength Queen: Fashletics Jewelry

I bought a couple of pieces from this website last year for gifts, and I loved the attention to detail and quality. There's nothing more powerful than someone who wants to gain strength mentally and physically.

For the Beauty Queen: BeautyCounter Charcoal Cleansing Bar

I just ordered one of these charcoal bars on Cyber Monday when they were buy one, get one free! I am slowly switching to more natural beauty products, and I love that BeautyCounter is all about pure, real ingredients. The charcoal bar leaves my skin feeling clean and pure! Next on my list is the charcoal mask, which I've been wanting for sometime. Maybe the next order that will be in my cart! But BeautyCounter doesn't just have skin care, they also have makeup and body care products as well!

You can also get both in a holiday kit here.

For the Athletic Girl: Lululemon

I can't have a gift list without Lululemon making an appearance. If you have never tried on Lulu, you are missing out. Luckily, I get to wear Lulu (and other athletic gear) as my work uniform, so my closet is full of Lululemon. I guess that's my justification! But in all seriousness, the fit and quality is amazing. Give any of their pants a try and you will be hooked.

For the Gluten-Free Foodie: Simple Mills Artisan Bread Mix

I recently discovered this bread mix at Fresh Thyme and tried it on a whim. It. Is. To. Die. For! With six simple ingredients - arrowroot, almond flour, flax meal, tapioca, sea salt, and baking soda - this mix is gluten free, sugar free, and so amazingly good! You add water, apple cider vinegar, and eggs to the mix to create one of three items: bread, rolls, or flatbread. They also have other mixes like banana or pumpkin, but the artisan bread mix is by far my favorite!

I wish everyone in my Nourish & Thrive family all the best on their shopping adventures, and hopefully these items will spark some ideas if you are struggling for gift ideas!

xoxo Olivia
