5 Healthy Halloween Treats

Need some ideas for healthy Halloween treats? Look no further than these 5 fun ideas that are made with real food!
1. Banana "Ghosts"
Peel bananas and cut them in half. Stand them up, pointed side up, on a plate. Use raisins, almonds, pistachios, or any nut to make 2 eyes for the ghost.
2. Clementine Pumpkins
Peel clementines and place on a plate. Use an almond or pistachio for the stem at the top of the clementine. Use almond butter as "glue" if needed.
3. Zucchini Noodle "Brains"
Using a vegetable spiralizer or vegetable peeler, create long, thin noodles with a zucchini (a cucumber would work too). Place in a bowl to use as "brains," or, better yet, add in homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs for a complete meal!
4. Apple "Fangs"
Cut the apple into wedges. Place one wedge on a plate. Spread almond butter along the slice and top with pistachios, almonds, or raisins. Top with another apple slice with almond butter on one side.
5. Egg "Eyeballs"
Hard-boil as many eggs as you would like. Peel and cut them in half. Place the yolks in a bowl and mash them with a ripe avocado (half to a whole, depending on how many eggs you make), as well as salt and pepper. Place the filling back into the egg white "shells," and top with an sliced olive.
Have a wonderful Halloween, and don't have to much candy :)
xoxo Olivia
