Happy Friday Everyone!

I’m going to keep this post short and sweet. I have a quick and easy workout for you do to anywhere. All you need is a deck of cards!

Workout of the Week

All you need is a deck of cards or the app WOD Deck of Cards on your smartphone (search for it in the app store).

Here’s what you do: flip over each card, one at a time, and do the movement that corresponds with the suit and number of reps indicated on the card. Jacks, Queens, and Kings are all worth 10, while Aces are worth 11 reps. When you flip over a joker, drop down and do a one minute plank, then resume right where you left off.

For instance, if you flip over the three of hearts, you will do three push-ups and then flip over the next card and continue on until you run out of cards. Trust me, it’s fun and challenging, especially when you get a bunch of the same suit all in a row!

Here are the movements:

Hearts – Push-ups

Diamonds – Burpees

Spades – Jumping Jacks x 10 (take the number on the card, say 4, and multiply by 10, so you do 40 reps)

Clovers – Jump Squats

Jokers – Plank for 1 minute
